At the beginning of 2024, I was honoured to be invited to the amazing exhibition „Y’A DE L’ART DANS L’AIR Carpentras 2024“ which is being organized in Carpentras in the South of France each year. The exhibition Y’A DE L’ART DANS L’AIR Carpentras 2024 was open from June 25 until the end of August, 2024 – with lots of wonderful artwork and also the amazing artwork „Aideen“ designed by Ricarda Simon. Aideen is a mystical character from Ireland whose magnificent hair represents the Olympic flame and who wears a cloak consisting of the Olympic colours. The figure represents Ireland, is athletic and slim, dressed in an Irish suit with the typical Irish colour. You can watch the exhibition here as well.
The topic of the exhibition was „The Olympic Colours“ in honour of the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024. I was very excited to be able to join this stunning project, and it was an amazing experience to see „Aideen“, the artwork I created, at Y’a de l’Art dans l’Air in Carpentras at the end of August.
