Female Art

Females in society are still confronted with lots of positive and negative stereotypes about being female. So are men, being male.  To some extent, we are all caught in a certain role. There are endless reports about the inequality of females with regard to their education, salary, status, or career. So many females (and men as well) suffer because they are so fed up with their role and want to escape. Sometimes, they even want to change their gender. With my Female Art, I want to draw your attention to unnecessary stereotypes in our society and invite you to think about them.

For example, how can you be sure that the "Woman in Blue" is female? Because she looks like a typical female? Maybe, she is biologically female but feels caught in her role, psychologically being male. You never know the whole story behind a person. At the end of the day, we are all human beings. And who are we to judge?
