Female Art

Females in society are still confronted with lots of positive and negative stereotypes about being female. So are men, and it is similar when you feel like a non-binary person. To some extent, we are all caught in a certain role. There are endless reports about the inequality of females with regard to their education, salary, status, or career. So many females (and men as well) suffer because they are so fed up with their role and want to escape. With my Female Art, I want to draw your attention to unnecessary stereotypes in our society and invite you to think about them.

For example, how can you be sure that the "Woman in Blue" is really female? Because she looks like a typical female? Maybe, she is female but feels caught in her body, psychologically being male. Or maybe, she used to be a man, feeling caught in the physical body and decided to change it? You never know the whole story behind a person. At the end of the day, we are all human beings. And who are we to judge?
