This collection honours the brave DDR Punks who fought against communism, control, and censorship in East Germany. Their fight for freedom is a reminder that total control and censorship (like today's "stakeholder capitalism," where few own everything) can't last if people care.
These DDR Punks are created with real physical "DDR Coins" (Ostmark 1 & 2 Mark). Each unique NFT is a 1/1 on the Tezos blockchain (objkt.com).
The original file is 1989x1989 pixels (the year of the Peaceful Revolution!) and is only minted once. Art prints are available on demand. Limited to 12, this collection is a tribute to freedom.
