The artwork „Birds under Armour“ invites reflection on the interplay between strength and sensitivity. "Birds under Armour" is a deeply intimate and symbolic piece of art capturing a moment of quiet tension and connection between two birds. The scene is minimalist and devoid of distractions, allowing the viewer to focus entirely on the two central figures. The birds face each other, their gazes locked in a silent exchange. Their posture suggests a mixture of curiosity and cautious awareness, as if they are aware of the world around them but not disturbed by it. The title "Birds Under Armour" suggests a subtle layer of protection or resilience, perhaps metaphorical, that shields them from external threats, suggesting that true strength lies in harmony and tranquillity. The birds seem to embody a balance between vulnerability and protection, reminding the viewer that even in a world full of challenges, there is beauty in stillness and unity.

A few years ago there was a storm in the Canary Islands which destroyed the cages of a parrot farm. The parrots escaped and have been living free ever since. "Parrot in Goldstorm" is a visual representation of how unexpected events (like the storm) can lead to liberation and the chance to start a new, free life. The chaos of the storm reveals the true "gold" - freedom!

The artwork is meant to suggest that even the most innocent and energetic creatures can be affected by the harsh realities of life with all the destruction of our natural environment. It's a poignant and thought-provoking piece that encourages viewers to reflect on their own struggles with addiction, loss and disillusionment. Originally, Sonic the Hedgehog was a symbol of speed, energy and youthful exuberance. But here, the blue colour adds a layer of sadness or melancholy, and the cigarette introduces a sense of weariness and disillusionment. The blue colour combined with the cigarette represents a loss of innocence, a departure from the carefree spirit of Sonic. Hedgehogs have a prickly exterior, but they are also vulnerable creatures. The blue colour emphasises this vulnerability, suggesting a sense of sadness or loneliness. Why is the hedgehog smoking? He was looking for food in his natural environment, but all he found was an old, discarded cigarette. The wood effect adds a sense of roughness and texture to the artwork, representing the harsh realities of life and the challenges the hedgehog faces. The artwork is a call to action to protect our environment while we still can.

The artwork aims to draw your attention to the fact that we have a moral obligation to protect harmless creatures from suffering and exploitation. "Harmless Fish" challenges viewers to confront the uncomfortable truths about the food industry and consider the consequences of their choices. Fish are innocent and vulnerable creatures, especially in contrast to humans. The viewer can see their sad expressions and how they are suffering, crowded together in an unnatural environment, highlighting the unnatural and inhumane conditions in which many fish are farmed, far from their natural habitat. The artwork is a critique of the industrial fishing industry and the inhumane treatment of animals for human consumption. It is also a call for empathy and compassion towards these creatures, urging viewers to acknowledge their suffering and consider the ethical implications of their choices. The artwork is also a statement about animal rights and the need to protect vulnerable species from exploitation and abuse. It's a reflection on the negative impact of human actions on the natural world and the need to find more sustainable and ethical ways of living.

This work of art is a tribute to the cat. Of course, cats are rarely blue in real life, so the colour symbolises uniqueness, individuality and even a touch of fantasy. Cats are often seen as independent and mysterious creatures with a hidden inner world. Yes, cats are special and different!
